Our Approach to Asphalt
Asphalt Paving Montgomery builds and maintains asphalt in Montgomery and the River Region: Autauga, Elmore, Montgomery, Lowndes, Macon, Bullock, Pike, Lee, Dallas and Chilton counties. We pave driveways and commercial lots, resurface worn pavement, seal coat, repair potholes and stripe parking lots.
Central Alabama is hard on asphalt in its own way. Summers bring close to three months of 90-degree days, the region averages about 51 inches of rain a year, and the Black Belt's heavy clays swell when wet and shrink when dry. Freezes are short and mild. So the work here is about heat, water and moving clay, and that is what our estimates focus on.
What to expect
1. A site visit where we measure, check the slope and probe the ground. 2. A written, line-item quote: removal, base, asphalt thickness, edges, sealing or striping, each priced. 3. Scheduling around rain and heat. 4. Care instructions when the job is done, including when to seal.
If the job reaches the street, curb or a state highway, we check what the city, county or ALDOT requires before we schedule.
